Atlas Copco has announced the release of its new ROC T35M surface crawler drill rig which combines the straightforward design concept of its former CM line with the well-tested features of the ROC range. The ROC T35M utilises a COP 1840 rock drill with 18kW drilling power to provide a high penetration rate. It provides increased drilling power with a lower energy input, resulting in reduced fuel consumption. The hydraulic control system COP Logic, adjusts the feed speed, feed pressure and impact pressure in real time according to the rock conditions.
Bo-Göran Johansson, vice president of marketing at Atlas Copco added: “The ROC T35M drill rig employs a cylinder-driven aluminium feed system that provides optimal penetration rates and drill steel life. Its rod handling system, with a streamlined number of parts, ensures easy adjustment and maintenance. The well proven feed profile is sturdy and highly resistant to bending.”
The ROC T35M is constructed from modules and parts that already feature in the Atlas Copco surface crawler range, making training easy and allowing contractors to utilise existing spare parts for repairs.
Maintenance is simplified with easy access service points. This combined with the ROC Care and COP Care service agreements means less breakdowns, increased availability and reduced service costs.
