Doosan will be showing several new products at this year's Conexpo event, including the DX235LCR and DX700LC crawler excavators.
The DX235LCR is designed to meet the continually-growing demand for reduced radius crawler excavators for work in confined areas.
The arm and bucket cylinders are sized to provide enhanced excavating force. The bucket's digging force is 14.2t, and the use of a power boost increases the force by about 5%.
The excavator is powered by a six-cylinder Doosan turbocharged diesel engine providing 123kW (166HP) at a maximum governed speed of 1,900revs/min. The DS235LCR has an operating weight of 23.6t and a maximum digging depth of 6.67m. The dump height is 7.93m, while the maximum digging reach is 9.82m.
The largest excavator in the Doosan range is the new DX700LC. The long carriage (LC) design offers optimum stability and safety.
Doosan offers three arms of varying length. Equipped with the 4.20m arm, the DX700LC offers a maximum digging depth of 9.03m, a maximum digging height of 12.52m, a maximum digging reach of 13.61m and a dump height of 8.66m. The minimum swing radius is 5.81m. Buckets for the DX700LC range in capacity from 2.5 to 4.5m3.
The DX700LC is powered by the six-cylinder common rail Isuzu AH-6WG1X turbocharged diesel engine, providing 345kW at a maximum governed speed of 1,800rev/min.
