BATO launches mine tyre business unit

Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations (BATO) has announced the formation of an integrated mining tyre business unit and the reorganisation of the Bridgestone Commercial Group.

The new business unit, Bridgestone Mining Solutions, combines all mining tyre sales, service and sales engineering, as well as a select group of US and Canadian stores, into one integrated structure. In addition, BATO announced several personnel changes within its commercial tyre operations to strengthen structural clarity, efficiency and profitability.

Kurt Danielson, president of Bridgestone Commercial Solutions (BACS), said: “We are very excited to begin this new chapter with our mining tyre business. The formation of Bridgestone Mining Solutions will allow us to enhance our mining offerings and be more responsive to our mining customers’ needs.”
