Caterpillar has released new designs for its D11T and D11T CD dozers.
The D11T and D11T CD weigh around 112,698kg and can be equipped with blades ranging in capacity up to 43.6m3.
The 634kW C32 engine is configured to meet US EPA Tier 4 Final emissions standards. For less regulated areas, the engine can also be configured to meet Tier 2 equivalent standards.
The D11T and D11T CD now have an Enhanced Auto Shift (EAS) system, designed to conserve fuel by automatically selecting the optimal reverse gear and engine speed, based on load and desired ground speed.
The cab features single-joystick blade control, finger tip steering, automatic climate control and Cat Comfort Series seats with a heated and ventilated option.
A new dynamic-inclination monitor provides information on tractor pitch angle and side-to-side slope angle. The Automated Blade Assist Control uses preset blade-pitch positions to simplify positioning and an optional Autocarry system automatically controls the blade during the carry segment.
In addition, the dozers feature an ‘OK-to-start’ system that electronically checks critical fluid levels. Routine maintenance is facilitated by filters, an optional automatic lubrication system, high speed oil change for engine and power train systems, and ecology drains for capturing fluids for proper disposal or recycling.
