Diemme Filtration enters Latin America

Diemme Filtration recently announced the first contract in Latin America for the supply of series GHT 2500 filter presses, signed last 14th May.
The American customer chose Diemme Filtration as partner for the development of a revival and expansion of one of the oldest mines in its portfolio.
The project provides the supply of the machinery in several stages. The first of which, worth around US$5.8 million, will be delivered by the end of 2011.
Diemme filters will be employed for the dewatering and washing of tailings from a cyaniding process used to extract gold.
The GHT 2500 filter press, launched by DIEMME in 2010, is an overhead-beam machine specifically designed for mining industry. It is the largest filter press currently available on the market.
