Dumas Contracting and JCHX Mining Management Co, a leading Chinese mining contractor, have entered into a strategic alliance. The scope of the agreement covers supporting Chinese clients with projects in Dumas’ core markets of Canada and Latin America. Dumas will also provide technical expertise in supporting JCHX on shaft-sinking projects in China.

“We are very pleased at the prospect of working with JCHX and are confident that our combined strengths will benefit our clients significantly,” said CEO Daniel Dumas.

Wang Xiancheng, chairman of the board of JCHX added: “JCHX is honoured to be partnering with Dumas, an organisation with an outstanding track record of achievement in all facets of underground hard-rock mining contracting. In particular, we were attracted to Dumas because of its industry-leading technical capabilities and safety record.”
