The new HERO 11 diamond core bit from Fordia is specially designed for use on very hard to extremely hard ground types.
The HERO 11 delivers an extremely sharp matrix and is ideal for ground consisting of basalt, felsic or volcanic rock, commonly found in the South American and Australian markets. The HERO 11 comes with a 13mm diamond impregnation height and offers an outstanding penetration/lifetime ratio. In a single thrust, it responds with more bite than a lower-level matrix.
The HERO 11 is the latest addition to Fordia’s HERO range. This consists of three core bits that that cover ground types with a hardness of 3.5 to 7.5 on the Mohs scale. All the core bits are made with the same unitary furnacing process to ensure tool consistency.
Following tests in Australia, Charlie Younger, Manager of Fordia’s three outlets in te country said: “Clients will be glad to hear about the launch of this new matrix, which takes on the hardest ground types without hesitation.
“The HERO 11 is the first in the series to meet the needs of the Australian market.”
