Immersive and Liebherr renew alliance

Liebherr has renewed its technical and licensing agreement with equipment simulator manufacturer Immersive Technologies for a second five-year period.
By renewing the agreement, Liebherr has chosen to continue providing Immersive with exclusive access to both its engineering staff and technical information which is considered essential to accurately simulate Liebherr's machines for operator training.
Liebherr first signed an exclusive alliance agreement with
Immersive in 2005 for haul truck simulation for its T282 B model. A similar
agreement was signed in 2008 with Liebherr's excavator business in
Bernd Haase, executive VP of sales and marketing from Liebherr said: "Liebherr is pleased to continue working with Immersive on the development of a new simulator for the latest version 363t haul truck - the T 282C. The T 282C requires a new simulator as it features a new cab layout and Liebherr designed Litronic Plus drive system."
Peter Salfinger, CEO of Immersive added: "We are very pleased to be continuing our relationship with Liebherr. There is no doubt that our alliance enables us to build superior simulators for operator training. We are excited about delivering our next simulator Conversion Kit for the T 282 C mining truck to our joint customers."
