International Coatings, a leading supplier of protective wall and floor coatings for industrial and commercial applications, has announced the release of a new pourable epoxy grout.

ICO Grout CR was designed for use as a chemical resistant base for pumps, tanks, machinery and column supports in highly corrosive areas like chemical plants, pulp & paper mills, and mining operations. International Coatings state excellent adhesion and fast cure times make it ideal for repairing eroded bases without having to remove the equipment and pour a whole new base. This saves considerable downtime, the cost of moving the equipment and removing and pouring a new base.

ICO Grout CR is a 100% solids, pourable epoxy grout that can be applied in a single step in any thickness without shrinking or cracking. Unlike conventional grouts it’s flexibilized to better withstand vibration, thermal shock and impact without cracking. It is a highly chemical resistant material that provides long term resistance to such harsh reagents as 98% sulfuric and other highly concentrated inorganic acids as well as all caustics, oils, fuels, and some solvents.
