Metso supplies mills for TISCO China

Metso will supply mining equipment to TISCO’s iron ore processing plant in Lan County, Shanxi Province, China. TISCO is one of the world’s largest producers of stainless steel. The delivery will be completed during the third quarter of 2011.
The order is valued at approximately US$37 million and comprises three semi-autogenous mills as well as related start-up and commissioning services.
The order will be delivered to TISCO’s new iron ore processing plant which is expected to be completed in 2012. The processing capacity of the plant’s three grinding lines will be 22Mt/y of ore, making it the largest in China.
