Mining software and solutions provider Micromine has been awarded Microsoft Gold Partner certification as an Independent Software Vendor. Micromine’s flagship mining and exploration solution, Micromine, was a core part of the company’s submission to the programme; it is a modular solution that takes users from exploration through to scheduling and planning.

To achieve the certification, companies are required to demonstrate excellence in technical expertise and outstanding experience in the field of information technology. Gold Partner certification is the highest level of the Microsoft Certified Partner programme, and companies with the certification are offered significant assistance from Microsoft to achieve corporate objectives.

Kevin Fitzpatrick, COO of Micromine, said: “We are so pleased to have been awarded this certification by Microsoft. We have been working towards this for many years and now our efforts have been rewarded. For us the most exciting part is being able to pass this value on to our clients, who will now be receiving mining and exploration solutions and support from a Microsoft Gold Partner.”
