Mintec welcomes new Chilean clients

Mintec’s Santiago office has confirmed it will supply MineSight software for several new mining clients in 2011. These include: JRI (Juan Rayo Ingeniería), a Santiago-based consulting company; IM2, a research division of Codelco, Chile; Mina Aratiri of Zamin Resources, a Uruguay-based mining and trading company; Minera Hampton Chile, a division of Australia’s Metminco, and Goldcorp’s El Morro copper-gold project in northern Chile.

In addition, BHP Billiton has purchased MineSight for its short- and medium-term planning departments at Minera Escondida in Chile.

Mintec’s Santiago branch manager, Juan Martinez commented: “It has been a great year so far for MineSight applications Chile. I’d like to welcome our new clients and we look forward to working with them.”
