Loading & Hauling

Schopf Maschinenbau recently launched its 14t (31,000 lbs) payload SFL 140 underground loader,  in line with the growing demand for compact, high capacity underground equipment.

Schopf comments that latest step 3 engine technology, combined with Z-linkage for fast working cycles, makes it a powerful LHD in stope production, ramp development and as a work mate for 40t or larger dump trucks.

A car-like seating position and superior view for the operator, certified FOPS/ROPS roof and failsafe POSISTOP brakes as standard increase operator safety and ergonomics.

The company points out that the unique Schopf center oscillation results in ample space for maintenance work, while hydraulic and electric circuits incorporated into the machine make things easier for inexperienced personnel.
