Superior partners up with Mimico in New Zealand

Minnesota, US-based bulk-material processing equipment supplier Superior Industries has appointed Matamata Industrial Machinery Imports (Mimico) to be its sole New Zealand distributor for its line of conveying products and washing systems

Mimico, based in Matamata, has a presence across the country with locations in Auckland, Paraparaumu and Christchurch, and 15 service agent locations stretching from Whangarei in the north to Invercargill in the south.

It sells, hires and services heavy machinery for the quarrying, mining, contracting, construction, recycling and forestry industries.

The products Mimico will offer in New Zealand include Superior's Aggredry dewatering washer for fine materials and the Alliance low water washer, the RazerTail truck unloader and the TeleStacker conveyor for radial stacking.

"It's important that we provide our customers with industry-leading equipment and, in Superior's range of washing systems and conveying equipment, we are definitely adding that to our offering," Mimico general manager Chris Gray said.

Superior's locations outside of Minnesota include Alberta and New Brunswick, Canada, and the US states of Arizona, Georgia, Michigan and Nebraska.
