GR Engineering scoops Sunrise EPC contract

PRESS RELEASE: GR Engineering Services has been awarded an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract with AngloGold Ashanti Australia to undertake the design and construction of a brownfields upgrade to processing facilities at the Sunrise Dam Gold Mine, located 55km south of Laverton in Western Australia.

Under the contract, GR Engineering will design and construct a new flotation and ultra - fine grind processing facility with a ssociated services upgrades to operate within the existing processing infrastructure that is currently in operation at Sunrise Dam.

The contract price is approximately AU$31.3 million. Work under the Contract is scheduled to start immediately, with completion scheduled for June 2018.

Commenting on the entry into the Contract, GR Engineering’s Managing Director, Mr Geoff Jones, said: “We are extremely pleased to be working with AngloGold Ashanti , a top tier global gold producer.
