Xylem brings Tier 4 final to pumps

PRESS RELEASE: The Godwin NC150S, launched by Xylem at the Water Environment Federation’s Annual Technical Exhibition and Conference (WEFTEC) this week, is equipped with Isuzu’s 4LE2X industrial diesel engine. The NC150S reduces total cost of ownership, with emissions cut by 90 percent and fuel consumption by 10 percent on average. In addition, a Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC) significantly reduces maintenance compared to Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) or Diesel Emission Fluid (DEF) technology. DOC technology does not require costly regeneration cycles.

Kevin Snow, Godwin Global Product Manager, said, “We are committed to providing the most reliable, easiest to maintain, fuel efficient pumps in the industry, and to help our customers reduce their carbon footprint with EPA compliant engine technology. We first introduced Tier 4 final engines on our Godwin pumps in 2014 and have thousands of hours of hands-on service and maintenance experience, meaning that Xylem is uniquely positioned to support customers.

"Adding Isuzu’s diesel engines to the Godwin S Series – the smart solution for water - allows Xylem to continue to lead the market in providing customers with a full range of proven Tier 4 final solutions.”
