Its EVO-MT system can provide 259 usable gallons (US) onboard LNG storage, enough for a 12-hour shift. Retrofit kits are already available for the Caterpillar 777B, C and D; 785B, C and D; 793B, C and D trucks; 992G and K wheel loaders; and Komatsu 830DC, AC and 930E trucks.

The integrated system, which is designed with vaporization, controls and safety systems in addition to on-board storage, has already logged more than 400,000 operational hours in environments with temperatures ranging between -40°F and 100°F or more (-40°C to 37.7°C or more).

GFS, formally known as Gaseous Fuel Systems, said six Terex Unit Rig 4400 trucks will be converted at a mine in India to use the EVO-MT system and will begin operating in early 2018. It plans to ultimately expand to 50 trucks.
