Rio Tinto automates with productivity in mind

As part of a productivity drive at its iron-ore operations in the Pilbara, Australia, Rio Tinto aims to expand its autonomous haul truck fleet by more than 50% by 2019, and has signed agreements with both Caterpillar and Komatsu to that effect
