PRESS RELEASE: The DF800S has been designed to drill efficiently and reliably under challenging conditions. The new model includes hydraulic cushioning that protects the drill from recoil impact.

According to Doofor, new technology shields the drill, making it even more durable and efficient.

The DF800S also has a patented distribution valve, ensuring optimised oil flow and efficient drilling, as well as minimising the parts that need maintenance.

With up to 25kW of power, it is suitable for drilling large holes up to 127mm.

The 229kg rock drill also has a separated flushing box, and the flushing media can be water or air. An extractor feature prevents the drill bit from jamming when pulled out. The overall modular structure of the drill enables simple and easy maintenance.

The drifter can be equipped with a T38, T45 or T51 shank adapter.

Doofor's manging director Kalle Kuusento said: "Demand for Doofor's versatile drifters has risen. Our mission is to always provide the industry's most performing and durable drilling equipment with the latest technology.

"To stay in the top of the field in future, we have expanded our premises during the past summer. We now have even better assembly and testing facilities, storage facilities, as well as social and business meeting facilities where our specialists it is pleasant to work."
