Komatsu releases lower emissions haul truck in Australia

Komatsu has commissioned the first Tier 4 Final version of its 930E-5 ultra-class mining truck in Australia, at a New South Wales open cut coal mine.

Released in Australia in 2018, the Komatsu 930E-5 has a capacity of more than 300 Metric Tonnes and is powered by a high performance Cummins QSK60 Dual Stage Turbo charged engine rated at 2700Hp via a fully solid state AC electric drive system.
