This is not surprising as the overall rate of adoption of LTE within the mining industry has started to accelerate in recent years, particularly with the rise of remote-controlled and autonomous equipment

Nokia deployed its first LTE system for a mine back in 2013-14. This was for one of the major players in Australia, and since then more majors have been looking into the technology.
