Indonesia's PTBA boosts coal capacity with rail expansion project

Indonesia's state-owned coal miner PT Bukit Asam (PTBA) has begun constructing a new coal handling facility to boost its transport capacity via the Tanjung Enim-Keramasan railway line.

Three projects are being built at the facility - two train loading stations with a 3000 tons per hour capacity each, two conveyor systems of 13km and 17km length with similar capacity, and three dump hoppers...
