A spokeswoman had told The West Australian that, following several such incidents in recent weeks,"the general manager [at Jimblebar] made the considered decision to temporarily pause operations to re-establish and reinforce safety requirements with all teams."

"Operations recommenced after several hours and there was no impact to production."

The Australian Financial Review had in a report ascribed the temporary suspension to BHP responding to a "string of low-level safety incidents".

There was no indication the incident was related to the operation of Jimblebar's fully-autonomous truck fleet.
