The EPL-QP-1X150RT-100-EPP.30A-2W3P lighting system, which provides 17,500 lumens of illumination, is adjustable and designed for portability and use in demanding conditions. It is a Class I Division 1, Class II Divisions 1 and 2 and Class III Divisions 1 and 2 hazardous location system, featuring one removable lamp head made up of 12 LED bulbs drawing an efficient 1.25 amps on 120V.

The LED light tower can also replace metal halide floodlights, which run hot and are too fragile for explosive environments. Its 30-amp rated, three-pole two-wire pin and sleeve plug is compatible with twist-lock receptacles, ensuring a secure connection is made.

"The EPL-QP-1X150RT-100-EPP.30A-2W3P is a great option for compact mining and construction operations because of the removable LED lamp head and collapsible tower," CEO Rob Bresnahan said. "The lamp head is small enough to fit through most standard size manholes and entry points, and the tower can be folded and passed through, then reassembled once inside."

The light is mounted on a four-legged, non-sparking aluminium quadpod; the adjustable tower can go from 7ft to 12ft. When not in use, the tower can be disassembled for storage and transport. For greater flexibility, the quadpod mount includes solid wheels for easy movement from one area of the workspace to another. The tower is also equipped with 100ft of 16/3 SOOW oil, chemical, abrasive and water-resistant cable.
