BTI said Creighton will sell its capital equipment and parts as well as its line of underground mining vehicles, hydraulic breaker attachments and rockbreaker systems.

Some of those include BTI's low-profile MRHLP model rockbreaker system for the underground mining environment; the PB Series rockbreaker systems for operation directly at the ore pass; and the Breaker Intel system that can operate any machine by remote control.

CRD will also promote BTI's mining vehicles including its underground scaler, ScaleBOSS 3D/3DE, Mine Runner underground utility vehicle, RMS scaler, vibratory pick scaler and hammer feed scaler.

The new mining partnership, eastern Ontario-based Creighton officials said, comes after 18 years of working together in construction and aggregate equipment.

"Having the chance to get more involved with them and their mining products was a great opportunity for us," senior vice president Al Creighton said, adding that it has been growing its own team with individuals who understand its key sales and service values.

"We will do that through attention to detail, local parts stocks for fast turnarounds on order fulfillment and by listening to our customers. It is important to us to build the BTI and CRD brands together as a symbol of quality and reliability in the mining sector."
