Underground mining tech company Normet and Hindustan Zinc have signed a comprehensive four-year cost-per-hour (CPH) service contract, covering all Normet equipment at the miner’s operations in Rajasthan, India

Hindustan Zinc and Normet signing the four-year service contract

The contract includes operational and service improvements, as well training for both Hindustan Zinc and Normet staff.

Normet said its SmartCare system will enable efficient service management and development of service operations, while its new service centre in Jaipur gives it easier access to its customer.

The value of the contract will be approximately €60 million (US$68 million) over four years.
