It remains on track to deliver first ore in July.

Hampton Mining and Civil Services has wound-up pre-production works and mobilised the mining fleet, as well as finishing topsoil removal and stockpiling works for the Flinders Main waste dump and run-of-mine pad.

Mincor will start ore mining once Widgiemooltha's ore dig plans, which are based on the recent grade control drilling campaign, are finalised.

Mincor managing director Peter Muccilli said that the first blast at the Flinders Main pit marked a key step towards the start of gold production at the project.

Muccilli said with the completion of pre-production works on-time and on budget the company remained on track to deliver first ore in July and take advantage of the strong Australian dollar gold price.

He said the recent site activity together with the toll-treatment agreement for the nearby Higginsville gold processing plant would generate solid near term cash-flows.
