Intermountain Mining Technology (IMT) will officially represent ThoroughTec Simulation's range of CYBERMINE training technologies in Nevada and Utah, the US.

IMT is a joint venture between two Cat dealers, Nevada's Cashman Equipment Company and Wheeler Machinery Company, of Utah.

Through this platform agreement, IMT said seeks to partner with mines, delivering high quality, technology-based solutions, local customer service, and personalized technical support..

This regional collaboration arose from the global cooperation agreement between Caterpillar Mining and ThoroughTec Simulation, through which ThoroughTec provides advanced mining equipment simulators to Cat dealers and customers around the world.

ThoroughTec Simulation's CYBERMINE products cover both surface and underground equipment and include advanced, hi-fidelity simulators, interactive e-learning modules and digital pre-trip inspection trainers.
