Caylloma demobilised the majority of its workforce in mid-March but continues to operate with essential personnel under government guidelines, which ore being processed from stockpiles.

Peru has a mandatory national social isolation to control the spread of the continues virus, which has been extended until May 10th.

Caylloma produced 249,111 ounces of silver in the first quarter at an average head grade of 70 grams per tonne silver. The mine also produced 7.7 million pounds of lead and 11.8Mlb of zinc.

The outbreak continues a tough start to the year for the company which was impacted by illegal blockages at its San Jose silver-gold mine in Oaxaca, Mexico in March and where mining ramp-up of its Lindero gold project in Salta, Argentina has been stalled by the government's mandatory social isolation measures.
