Vale joins ICMM

Vale becomes a member of the International Council on Mining and Metals

PRESS RELEASE: ICMM is an international organisation dedicated to improving the safety, social and environmental performance of the mining and metals industry.

Tom Butler, ICMM's chief executive officer, warmly welcomed Vale into the membership, and said: “The addition of Vale will bring a unique and especially valuable perspective to ICMM, given its extensive emerging market exposure. We are delighted to welcome the company to the council again.”

Vale is a publicly traded company, headquartered in Brazil, with a presence in some 30 countries across four continents.
