Becker Mining Systems has appointed a fifth vice-president with the promotion of Jörg Steffensky to head up the firm’s operations & systems department.
As a vice-president, Mr Steffensky joins Bernhard Baus-Neufang (sales support), Achim Benoit (finance), Horst Linvers (sales, Germany) and Arnold Trockur (marketing). Mr Steffensky, who joined the company in 1979, will be responsible for co-ordinating the group’s production processes,IT structure and quality management. In addition to its head office in Germany, Becker Mining has subsidiaries in France, Poland, Russia, China, South Africa, Australia, the US, Canada and Chile.
