Petaquilla GMD order for ABB

PANAMANIAN copper-mining junior Minera Petaquilla SA recently placed a US$88 million order for six gearless mill-drive (GMD) systems from power and automation-technology group ABB. The order represents the first GMD project in Panama and in wider Central America.
