Windfall's CARDS AI product guided the geological analysis the 5,675 hectares project area and subsequent sampling of AI-identfied target areas.

"[The] CARDS AI product…[provided] a new exploration tool to find new targets for the Tierra de Oro project," the miner's exploration geologist Ximena Perez Campos said.

"The processing of this data using this technology resulted in six new areas to explore in search of new targets. After years of evolution in mining prospecting methods, the incorporation of AI technology opens a new era in exploration, identifying new study targets in areas where the algorithm finds the probability of success, based on the existing geological information in other areas and the similarity of this in other unexplored areas."

Of the six AI-identified targets, three were prioritised for crews to go into the field and check for interest in further exploration.

"The field campaign for evaluation of the first targets delivered positive results that opens other prospects to the targets already recognized at a more advanced stage of exploration," Campos said.

Sampling on three of the AI targets yielded results including 10.32 grams per tonne of gold and 5.79 g/t gold at the Cobalt zone; while nine samples in the southern area of the property graded between 0.77% and 3.23% copper at numerous AI targets.

Chilean Metals will start a drilling programme based on the exploration findings.

"We believe the AI guidance will focus our search and enhance our odds of drilling success," Chilean Metals' CEO Terry Lynch said.
