Miners in Sweden have tested an upgraded version of the GET (Ground Engaging Tools) system for Scooptram loaders, and have found it extended the system’s service life by 30-40% - this, according to the system’s manufacturer Atlas Copco.

The GET system has been equipped with a more robust steel composition

The GET bucket was tested for a period of 18 months at the Lovisa mine, a zinc-lead operation in the mineral-rich Bergslagen region in central Sweden.
