The SmartROC D65 is a down-the-hole (DTH) surface drill rig designed for contour, presplit and production drilling tasks. The new-generation model includes intelligent features designed for safer and more productive drilling.

The Auto Feed Fold feature is intended to decrease time spent on rod changing, while the BenchREMOTE option gives an operator the ability to control multiple rigs remotely.

The drill has been equipped with a new hydraulic system resulting in a more environmentally friendly and cost-efficient product. A 75% decrease in tank size reduces hydraulic oil costs. A lesser amount of hoses and connections is intended to keep maintenance costs low.

The drill feed is available in a standard size (5m), long feed (6m) and XL feed (8m). Using Epiroc's ‘smart technology', the product is expected to improve safety and productivity in drilling projects.
