The companies' new distribution deal includes Sparta scissor lifts, boom trucks, ANFO loaders, lubrication trucks and multi-application and custom support machines.

TES confirmed it selected the partner for its sales, rental and repair reputation, particularly in the underground mining sector, as it grows its Latin American footprint.

The company stated: "TES views the South American underground mining market as an important part of the company's growth plan, and believes Sparta's… design is a perfect fit for a mining market whose underground operations and focus on safety continues to grow steadily."

Minero Diesel, established in 1992, is already a distributor for Komatsu, including parts and services.

The TES Sparta line includes 14 vehicles engineered for underground mining.
