GHH management said it is a launch customer for the mine, which is to be completed in 2023, with its newly launched HG16 maintenance unit. The machine is a crossover conveyor maintenance vehicle that has working and loading platforms, and a loading crane that can lift nearly 1 tonne.
The working platform has a large area, extendable to 4.5 metres in length and can be slewed through 95 degrees. Featuring four-wheel-drive, the diesel-powered, four-cylinder machine weighs 9.35 tonnes and complies with EU Stage 3A/US EPA Tier 3 standards for emissions.
"The first vehicle was recently shipped; three more will follow," GHH said.
The HG16 will be used to maintain the powerful conveyor belt of the underground operation.
Other units of its utility vehicles went to India, Kazhakstan and Russia, including the newly developed emulsion charger BEC100 for an Amur region gold operation along with its IS-26 concrete spraying machine and BKPT7 material transporter.
