BelAZ delivers three trucks to Mechel

BelAZ makes haul trucks and transport equipment for the mining and civil engineering industries.

The diesel-powered trucks will be used to haul mined rock as part of the efforts to expand the mining area. The move will allow the mining company to get access to new iron ore deposits.

The BelAZ-75131 haul trucks are designed to operate in complicated Siberian mining conditions. 

An agreement on strategic cooperation between BelAZ and Mechel has been in effect since 2011.

The modern fleet of BelAZ vehicles used at Korshunov comprises about 20 trucks.

BelAZ manufactures haul trucks and transport equipment for the mining and civil engineering industries.

BelAZ accounts for some 30% of the world market of haul trucks with an extremely large carrying capacity and makes the world's largest haul truck with the carrying capacity of 450 tonnes.
