The company stated that ProShot represents its "focus on solutions that fulfil customer expectations and meet the demands of underground mining".

The ProShot concrete sprayer's chemical tank volume is 700L, and the fuel tank capacity is 250L. The spray boom coverage envelope is 5.5m x 8.6m x 2.5m. The Getman nozzle assembly easily disassembles for cleaning without using special tools.

The boom is mounted on the centreline of the chassis, with telescopic boom extension of 2.5m. The operator cabin is mounted mid-ship to reduce exposure to rebound and provide good operator visibility.

The ProShot features a new interior touchscreen display and three exterior screens, meaning operators can safely control the flow of concrete product from inside or outside the vehicle. The in-cab 10in (25.4cm) touchscreen provides information about the machine to the operator; with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi capabilities, software revisions are available via the operator's smartphone.

The Getman dosing management system provides real time spray process information and data acquisition, which is visible on three 7in (17.8cm) exterior displays. The chemical additive dose may be changed via remote, with five preset rates and the changes visible on process displays.

Rick Kraft, ground support product manager at Getman, said: "ProShot is a fresh idea - a concrete sprayer built using the knowledge of shotcrete experts and experienced maintenance personnel. It's designed for the ultra-tough rigours of underground mining and tunnelling.

"Based on a common-sense approach that offers excellent user interface and accessibility, ProShot is a sprayer that's intuitive to operate and easy to maintain. Even inexperienced technicians can apply consistent, high quality layers of sprayed concrete."

Christopher Warner, product manager at Getman, added: "The new ProShot represents our resolve to meet changing customer needs for product development. Our new design meets the challenge of maintaining a balance between a manoeuvrable chassis size and a layout that facilitates safe and easy daily maintenance."
