Orica bounces back

ORICA has made a A$230 million (US$149 million)-plus turnaround on the previous financial year posting a A$60 million net profit after tax for the 2022 financial year. In FY21 it posted a A$174 million loss.

That NPAT could have been a lot better had it not been for A$257 million in significant items. Not least of those significant items was a A$131 million impairment expense for Orica exiting its Russia business....
