Alrosa already in May announced the suspension of two low-margin operations due to the fall in demand from the coronavirus pandemic.

It was planning on keeping one of those assets closed until the end of the September and the other one until the end of December.

The company is looking at restarting Verkhne-Munskoyeon October 1, 2020.
