Aura Minerals Inc said its Gold Road mine in Arizona, US, has declared commercial production as of December 1.

The first lot of gold production was shipped from the property in September.
Gold Road joins Aura's other producing assets, the San Andres gold mine in Honduras, the Ernesto/Pau-a-Pique gold mine in Brazil and the Aranzazu copper-gold-silver mine in Mexico.
It is also developing the Almas and Matupa projects in Brazil and Tolda Fria in Colombia.
