Rolando Medeiros, CEO of ME Elecmetal, received the award from Craig Ammar, global general manager of maintenance, and Monica Ogas, global supply chain manager, both senior executives at Freeport.

Richard Adkerson, president and CEO of Freeport-McMoRan, sent a message which read: “Your long-time support of Freeport-McMoRan has been a cornerstone of our success. Most recently, your highly motivated team has partnered with us as we weather the difficult cycle that brought copper prices to near six-year lows.

ME Elecmetal has worked with all of Freeport’s mining operations in North America (Morenci-Metcalf, Bagdad, Chino, Sierrita, Climax, Henderson), as well as those in Africa, Indonesia and South America.
