Royal, with locations in Oregon and Michigan, has played a role in Kobe’s product development and has been a supporter of its sales. Kobe has also since moved its headquarters into Royal’s facility in Portland, and the latter will now be its stocking distributor.

“The complete Kobe line is designed and manufactured to meet the high-quality standards demanded by our domestic and international customers,” Royal Bearing president Clarence Hopkins said.

“Kobe’s high-performance products fill the gaps in our already broad range of hard-to-find and industry-standard replacement bearings stocked in our…warehouses.”

Royal will certify the quality of all Kobe Bearing products, according to officials, and warrant them for 13 months.
