The deal combines Rema Tip Top's expertise in design, fabrication, conveyor system installation and maintenance with the material processing, fabrication and structural steel abilities of DPS.

By extending this range, Rema national projects and tenders manager Steve Hipwell said, it would strengthen the overall availability of infrastructure services for the Australian industry.

"We've long spoken about our desire to provide total industrial solutions that are aligned to our customers' operating challenges and the establishment of this new infrastructure capability is evidence of this commitment," he added.

"The new agreement bolsters Rema Tip Top's deep domain experience in the installation and maintenance of conveyor systems for Australia's leading industrial companies, adding a new and unmatched capability to provide broader infrastructure services."

The company also noted that working with DPS would expand turnkey services capabilities.

The new partnership was effective from January 1.
