The opening ceremony of Flowrox Spa was held on April 24, 2018, and was attended by company representatives, customers and business partners, as well as Mika Markus Leinonen, the Finnish ambassador to Chile.

Flowrox has a long history in Chile and South America. It operated in the region through local company Larox for 20 years; however, in 2010, the operations were halted. In 2016, Flowrox decided to appoint an area sales manager for South America, now followed by the launch of Flowrox Spa, the company's sixth subsidiary.

The establishment of the subsidiary forms an integral part of the company's strategic plan for long-term business development throughout South America, the company said, and also an important milestone to further expand Flowrox's global market reach.

"With our own local organisation, we will be able to offer high-quality customer services and manage efficient distribution of our appreciated products," said Rafael López, managing director of Flowrox Spa.
