LASE has settled in the city of Perth to serve its fellow Australian customers in the mining, port, steel and logistics industries. Lars Mohr, who has previously worked as sales manager at the LASE branch office in Bremen, Germany, has been appointed general manager for LASE's expansion into Australia and the South-Pacific region.

From the new location, LASE's 2-D and 3-D laser measurement systems will not only be distributed within Australia but also to New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.

LASE is also the distributor within these regions for two further well-known German brands that are also very active in the mining, port and steel industries - coupling technology manufacturer Malmedie Antriebstechnik and encoder manufacturer Johannes Hübner Giessen.

LASE is represented worldwide through a well-established distributor network with reliable partners for consultancy, project support and after-sales services. The network partners are constantly educated by LASE through training, new product information and joint customer visits. In addition to its German offices, LASE has offices in Shanghai, China and Kolkata, India.
