Syrah to build solar, battery project at Balama

Australia-based graphite producer Syrah has chosen London-based renewables company Solarcentury to build a solar plant and battery storage facility at its Balama mine in Mozambique.

The hybrid power system will work in conjunction with the existing 15MW diesel plant.
