Aggreko says mining appetite for green power expanding

Continuing reductions in renewable technology capital costs will be a factor in speeding mining’s transition away from its historical diesel dependency for remote site fuel, however, Aggreko global head of mining Rod Saffy sees the appetite for more sustainable power supply “increasing substantially in the next 5-10 years” and driving demand regardless of a tech shift.
