PRESS RELEASE: Under the contract, KPS will build, own and operate a 5MW diesel-fuelled power station at Beacon's Jaurdi gold project, located 75km northwest of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia. The contract will run for an initial term of 3.5 years.

James Cullen, managing director at Pacific Energy, said: "We are grateful for the award of this contract by Beacon Minerals and look forward to contributing the energy component for this new gold project."

Graham McGarry, managing director at Beacon, added: "We look forward to working with KPS who will be an essential part of the Jaurdi gold project team. This contract extends an association with KPS which started with the purchase of generator sets from Ken Hall (executive director at KPS) in Kalgoorlie in 1985."

Cullen also noted that planning was already well underway, with commissioning expected to occur in the December 2018 quarter.
